3-in-1 Videophone VP 8220 videophone supports point to point video call and multipoint videoconference over IP (LAN, WAN, ADSL, SDSL, VDSL, etc.), as well as telephone call over PSTN network. The users can choose any of these 3 functions by pushing the function buttons.
High video and audio quality
Inheriting the video and audio processing technic from ViewPoint group endpoints, VP 8220 videophone delivers 30 fps video and crystal audio to the users. The improved AGC, AEC and ANS algorithms bring the audio quality to a new level.
Multiple A/V Input/Output
There are four A/V jacks at the rear panel, allowing the users to hook up additional A/V
devices such as VCD, DVD, VCR and TV set. QoS Enhanced With Huawei proprietary QoS measures, VP8220 videophone can deliver smooth video even if there is heavy packet loss (around 30%).
Further more, the connection rate is self-adapted to the network traffic status to ensure the video quality in the changing network environment.
Firewall / NAT Traversing
With Huawei proprietary Static NAT and SNP protocol, VP 8220 videophone can traverse the firewall and NAT devices without any extra equipments.
Effortless Maintenance
With many loop and network status checking functions, it is quite easy to locate the faulty
components when there is a failure. The selfdetected software upgrading mechanism frees the users from routine maintenance.
Security and Privacy
The Gatekeeper registration password and system setup password block the undesired access, and the user can turn off local video anytime to protect privacy.
